iD Tech Student Projects

In the Summer of 2011, I taught Video Editing and Special Effects at iD Tech at American University. In one week, campers brainstormed, wrote, filmed, and edited (complete with music and special effects) short films. As instructor, I acted as producer, director of photography, and director for these films, with campers as actors and intermittent camera operators during shooting. Each camper was then given the same raw footage and was responsible for editing together their own version of the final film. Below are the “Best Of”:
